Wildwood is a clean, well kept New Jersey shore town with a rich history. It has great boardwalks, beaches (expect a hike to the water tho), restaurants, attractions, and location. There is something for everyone in Wildwood.
Best thing in Millville is the race track New Jersey Motorsports Park for me. Have been going for pass 9 years. There are plenty of places to eat. All the typical fast food places plus a couple of steak houses and restaurants. Lots of shopping centers around also.
Not much right here but an Applebee's and Cracker Barrel, along with a few fast food places and gas station. Great freeway access, just a few minutes to get to Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey
I grew up in New Jersey so Ocean City is familiar to me. It’s great for a family vacation. Beach is clean. Boardwalk has attractions for all ages and there are numerous restaurants to suit a number of tastes.
Cherry Hill is a wonderful suburb in New Jersey right across the river from Philadelphia. From there is easy access to Philly by either car over one of two bridges (Ben Franklin or Walt Whitman) or one can take a PATCO train from various stations on the New Jersey side into various parts of Philadelphia. Did I mention that Cherry Hill has one of the best public school systems in the country. In addition from Cherry Hill one can visit various quait towns nearby including Moorestwon, Haddenfield and Collingswood.
Loved it here. I’ve been to New Jersey before but not Fairfield, there was so much to do places to eat and places to shop nearby.
I grew up here and visit my family so of course I come to Vineland fairly often; as a travel destination there isn’t much to set it apart from any other mid sized town in a semi rural setting. It has a growing downturn area with your standard mall and chain restaurants. What sets it apart is it’s function as a base for exploring the surrounding region. It is near Milllville if you are into glass museums and racetracks and to the west there are a lot of farms from which you can get fresh Jersey tomatoes and corn in the summer and early fall. Philly, Atlantic City and Cape May are less than an hour’s drive away and you can visit Cowtown in Salem county if you like cowboys and rodeos. There’s an Amish market too and their baked goods are amazing. The Pinelands lie to the east and there are nature preserves to the south if you want to hike or observe wildlife. It’s definitely South Jersey and doesn’t fit outsiders’ stereotypes of New Jersey at all (those rarely apply to most of the state anyway). Vineland is a good base to use as a jumping off point for area destinations. Lots of luck getting a room during shore season though...reserve early!
I grew up nearby. Couldn’t wait to leave. Way too much traffic. Many areas old and run down. I would NOT recommend it to anyone thinking of moving; same with any location in central New Jersey. I rented a room here simply because it was cheap and close to Metrpark, the train station.
The motel was conveniently located to other shops and restaurants and close to ocean city New Jersey. The least liked thing was the comment about the bugs made by the employee. “This might be the first case of bed bugs this season” so that tells me they have a reoccurring issue with bed bugs.
Very friendly people. So close to so many historical places. Definitely venture to Trenton and visit the New Jersey state museum. It’s free!
I would like to thank you for your hospitality in the last week, I would especially like to thank Maureen and Nancy at the reception for their kindness at the check-in and all the information we've been given about New York. We were looked after very well in the hotel, we received a local map and all directions for public transportation from New Jersey to New York and return. The ladies showed great professionalism, courtesy, and a fantastic sense of humor. It was a pure pleasure to stay in the hotel, Thank you!
Point Pleasant Beach
The staff was very friendly and personable. There was parking right in front of the room. The hotel was close to the beach. The room appeared clean by sight. There was a very nice clean refrigerator and microwave. The linens appeared fresh, and the bathroom was clean. Unfortunately the room had bed bugs. I have heard that there is a bed bug infestation in New York and New Jersey, so they are not alone by any means. If the motel cleans that up it would have been rated a 10.
-Very friendly and patient staff. -To go to NYC there is an alternative to the hotel's shuttle bus and it's an NJ transit pass discount ticket: you pay 29,50 Dollars instead of 35 and you get 10 rides. So instead of 3,5 Dollars or more, you only pay 2,95 per ride, which saves a bit of money. The pass can be purchased only at any of the Port Authority (NYC) ticket machines. The NYC metro card is not valid in New Jersey.
New Jersey is a perfect location for exploring Manhattan during the day and then relaxing, with less hustle and bustle during the evening. This hotel is very close to both a great pedestrianised eating and shopping area, and to public transport into Manhattan (just two stops to the World Trade Center). The rooms are very trendy, clean, and ours was very quiet. We would definitely recommend this hotel.
We stayed for 2 nights and found the room to be big enough for a family of 4. We had two double beds and a pull out couch. Breakfast in the morning was good and convenient especially when you have kids traveling with you. We also liked the pool. Two amenities which drove me to pick this hotel. Not to mention it was centrally located to what we were going to be doing in New Jersey.
Hotel location on the Hudson with the amazing view of NYC skyline and the ability to view the Statue of Liberty, indescribable! Rooms were spacious. Enjoyed our walk along the river. Restaurants within walking distance from hotel. Not a far drive to Liberty park. I was glad we chose to visit the Statue of Liberty from New Jersey rather than New York.
The hotel was on or near a major highway in northeast New Jersey although the road system in that area can be a little confusing even with a GPS. That is a minor considering how nice this hotel is. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were welcoming and pleasant, and the breakfast was very good.
I really enjoyed my stay the room was clean and spacious , very beautiful, appreciated the decoration the bed was comfortable, like the flat screen tv , bathroom very clean , good breakfast I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting New Jersey or New York
Very nice hotel. I have no complaints as it was 15 minutes from where I had to DJ an elopement party. It was clean and they did have waffle maker that actually worked. I would stay here again. It was my first time staying at a hotel in New Jersey.
West New York
Apartment is nice and clean, close to Hudson River with an amazing view to Manhattan's skyline. But going there from jfk by a taxi is very, very expensive because the apartment is situated in New Jersey and you need to pay toll from Manhattan.
Location is perfect near New Jersey Turnpike and Interstate 295 with access to Philadelphia area. Very clean and comfortable room. It's obvious that the hotel pays particular attention to housekeeping -- my kudos to the housekeeping staff.
Perfect location for nipping into NYC - Path station is literally next door and there's a Light rail station across the road for New Jersey travel. Beds were super comfy and the room was lovely. Hotel was nice and quiet.
Cape May
I love the Macomber for it's location and it's great historic value to New Jersey. You can walk pretty much everywhere, or ride a bike. The big front porch with the rocking chairs is my favorite part!
The location is excellent for proximity to events in Southern New Jersey and reasonably close to Philadelphia, PA. The front desk staff was pleasant and responsive when we had requests for towels or pillows.
This is our favorite Hotel near Trenton, located right off i-95 in very quiet neighborhood. We always booked the same hotel since 2017 when we travel in New Jersey. Very friendly people, highly recommended
Hotel is really beautiful, close to NYC take 320 bus bring to time square less than 30 mins. 1 way fare $4.25 or $8.50 rountrip. Food is good lots of variety, will go back again if we are in New Jersey
Hotel is well situated for meetings in New Jersey and Manhattan. Short walk to PATH that services the two main centres in Manhattan. The hotel is clean, staff helpful and great value for money.
The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting New Jersey.
Good Hotel and Hallways Smell very Pleasant. Beeakfast and Cleanliness are at the top notch Standards. If I go New Jersey again, I will definitely stay in this Hotel.
Union City
The apartment was so spacious and beautiful. Had everything we needed and more. It was also in such a good location to get to New York and new jersey alike.
